Are chairs provided?: No, chairs must be rented from a contractor. The city must be given the contractor’s name two weeks prior to the event.

1. Where in the park can I have my ceremony?: The most popular ceremony location is the Plaza under the tower or in front of the fountain. The amphitheater and floating stage may be available for receptions for an additional fee.

2. What is provided?: You will be provided with a handheld wireless microphone and microphone stand, a sound system and technician to play music that you provide. The section of the park that you rent will be blocked off to the other park patrons and a one hour rehearsal time is provided based on park availability.

3. What are the rental fees for having my wedding at Cranes Roost?: For a three hour rental, there is a $600 (+ tax) rental fee and a $50 application fee. The rental fee will be adjusted if additional services are required. There is a $200 fee per hour for rentals longer than three hours.

4. When can I make a reservation?: You can make a reservation at any time by calling (407) 571-8858.

5. Are there forms to fill out?: Yes, the event application in this brochure must be completed and returned. A cost estimate based on the applicant’s information will be provided.

6. Are there weddings held year round?: Yes, however the Christmas tree will be put up immediately after Halloween and will be up during the months of November and December. There is the distinct possibility that the tree and other holiday decorations will be in the background of any wedding pictures that are taken. All weddings during the month of December must be completed by 5 p.m.

7. Are chairs provided?: No, chairs must be rented from a contractor. The city must be given the contractor’s name two weeks prior to the event.

8. Can we throw rice?: No, rice is prohibited. All rose petals, etc. must be cleaned up prior to leaving.

9. Can we use a tent?: Yes, tents are permitted as long as they are weighted and not staked into the ground. Limited tent and table rentals are available through the City.

10. Can I have a reception at Cranes Roost Park?: Yes, all caterers will be subject to providing the proper insurance and all alcohol guidelines must be followed.

11. What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?: You must have an alternate plan in case of inclement weather. We do not issue refunds for weather related cancellations.
