Yasin Chentouf

Yasin (Yaya) Chentouf went to Dr. Phillips High School and received First Team All-Region as a senior. He then played college baseball with the Pitt Panthers for three seasons, where he became their all-time leader in saves. He was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in 2018 and played two years of minor league baseball in their organization. Over those two seasons, he pitched 120 innings with a 3.15 ERA and 18 saves. In 2018, he was named to the Mid-Season All-Star team while playing with the Connecticut Tigers.

Luis Curbelo

Luis Curbelo went to Cocoa High School where he was drafted in the sixth round by the Chicago White Sox in the 2016 MLB draft. Luis played five seasons in the minor leagues with the Chicago White Sox as a shortstop. In 2021, playing with the Winston-Salem Dash (White Sox High-A affiliate), he played in 109 games and led his team with 22 HRs and 66 RBIs.

Steve Iannini

Steve graduated from Colonial High School in Orlando, where he was an all-state performer in baseball and football. He attended Georgetown University, where he played for ABA‘s Ken Kelly. While at Georgetown, Steve was a three-time D1 All-American center fielder. He led the nation in hitting in 1984, and his .447 batting average is still the highest in NCAA history over a four-year career. He is a member of the Georgetown University Hall of Fame. The Chicago White Sox, New York Yankees, and Oakland Athletics drafted Steve. He spent three years in the Oakland A’s minor league system before chronic arm injuries ended his career. Steve returned to Georgetown as an Assistant Coach and then coached professionally in Italy.

Thomas Kelly

Thomas Kelly played collegiate baseball for Seminole State College of Florida and Stetson University. He has over 10 years of coaching experience, including Stetson, Seminole State College, the Cape Cod and Florida Collegiate Leagues, Spruce Creek High School and the Orlando Scorpions. TK has worked with Central Florida’s top high school and collegiate talents as well as minor and major league players. He has helped produced early-round MLB draft picks as well as NCAA Division I prospects. He specializes in hitting and infield instruction.

Darryl Knight

Darryl Knight went to Wekiva High School where he stood out as a power hitting catcher. He went on to play college baseball for Seminole State College and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He was drafted in the 14th round by the New York Mets and has played three seasons in their minor league system. Young baseball players gravitate to his positive coaching style and infectious personality.

Matt Pierpont

Matt Pierpont pitched for the Colorado Rockies AAA affiliate Albuquerque Isotopes in 2019. He was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in 2013 out of Winthrop University and has now played for seven seasons in their minor league system. Over his career in the minor leagues, he has pitched 331 innings with a career ERA of 2.83.

Laz Rivera

Laz Rivera played collegiate baseball at multiple schools including the University of Miami, Chipola College and the University of Tampa. In 2017, Laz was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 28th round. He played four seasons with the MiLB Charlottes Knights (Chicago White Sox Triple-A affiliate). He has a career batting average of .283 and plays second, third and shortstop.

Chris Roberts

Chris Roberts attended Florida State University and was named a College Baseball All-American in 1992. He also competed for the 1992 U.S. Olympic Baseball Team in the 1992 Olympics. He was drafted in the first round (18th overall) by the New York Mets in the 1992 MLB draft. Roberts went on to pitch for eight seasons in the minor leagues and one season in Japan. After his professional career, he coached at several colleges and was the pitching coach at Stetson University from 2009 to 2015 where he coached NL Rookie of the Year, Jacob deGrom. During his time at Stetson, he had eight pitchers drafted by major league teams.
