How do I apply for the summer internship program?
The AS2I program recruits interns from the Spring Internship Expo hosted by Seminole County Public Schools ePathways program. Rising juniors and/or seniors are encouraged to attend the event where students can talk with AS2I staff and submit their resume.
How do I apply for the AS2I Ansara Scholarship?
Graduating SCPS seniors who have participated in the AS2I program either through a fieldtrip or an AS2I summer internship are eligible to apply. They must be interested in pursuing a S.T.E.M. education at a public or private Florida university. Full details are on the Scholarship page.
How do I apply for the Blue School Grant Program?
The St. John’s River Water Management District (SJRWMD) has provided an incredible opportunity to Seminole County Public middle and high school teachers. They have $20,000 in grant money available (up to $2,000 per teacher, per school) to award to teachers to enhance student knowledge of Florida’s water resources. Can my student attend a fieldtrip if he or she is home schooled or attending a private school?
Unfortunately, the AS2I in partnership with Seminole County Public Schools (SCPS) is exclusively offered to SCPS middle school and high school students. Lake Lotus Park is open to the public Thursday through Sunday where outside groups of SCPS are encouraged to enjoy the park.
