Recycling Family

An unlimited amount of recycling may be placed curbside for collection. Place all recycle items in recycle bins and place curbside by 7 a.m. To order free recycle bins, please call (407) 571-8611 or email. We will deliver your bins on your next recycle day.

Recycling Commodity List

  • Pasteboard (i.e., cereal boxes, empty paper towel and toilet paper rolls, soda, beer, tissue, gift, pizza and shoe boxes)
  • Brown paper grocery bags (no wax, no wet strength material, and no liners)
  • Corrugated cardboard (flattened and cut down to no larger than 3 by 3 foot)
  • Newspaper, supplements, magazines, catalogs and telephone books
  • All plastic containers #1 through #7 (the number is on the bottom of containers)
  • Glass bottles and jars (clear, green, and brown)
  • Aluminum cans
  • Steel cans and tin household containers, such as food cans

Remove and dispose of all lids and rinse containers before placing in bins.

Items Not Accepted

  • Plastic bags
  • Electronic devices
  • Wax coated cardboard
  • Aluminum foil or pie plates
  • Light bulbs or drink ware (glass or plastic)
  • Egg cartons or other polystyrene foam cups, trays, etc.
  • Broken glass (i.e., window panes or mirrors)
  • Containers housing motor oil, paint, pesticides, herbicides, pool chemicals or any other hazardous material
