The Police Department offers residents within the City an opportunity to request an officer drive by and check on their home while the resident is on vacation. The information you provide tells the officers:
Who to contact in an emergency?
Will there be any vehicles parked at the home?
Is there an alarm or outside lighting?
Will anyone be working on the residence in your absence?
The House Check Form can be downloaded and once the form is complete, simply bring it to the Records Section of the Police Department between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please do not sign the form until it can be witnessed by a records clerk or officer.
You may also contact the non-emergency number, (407) 339-2441, and an officer will be dispatched to your residence to witness your signature and retrieve the form.
