AS2I Teaching STEM Countywide
In ten years, the Altamonte Springs Science Incubator (AS2I) program has shown tremendous growth and continues to educate and inspire the young minds of tomorrow. The program, a City of Altamonte Springs STEM education initiative, began as a small field trip program aimed to stimulate interest in the exciting fields of science, technology, math and engineering. The program very quickly transformed into a well-rounded organization that provides dynamic learning experiences and unique encounters.
To this day, AS2I hosts thousands of Seminole County students, awards hundreds of dollars in scholarship funds and collaborates with leading industry professionals to provide exclusive internship positions.
The City, along with our esteemed and generous partners, always strives to empower our community and foster creative opportunities for exponential growth and development. This investment in STEM education will provide countless educational experiences for future students.
