U.S. Citizenship & Naturalization Preparation Class
September 26 & October 3, 10, 17, 24 | 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.
This 4-week program is designed to help permanent residents prepare for the U.S. Citizenship and Naturalization process. The class helps participants learn about civics and U.S. history, while preparing them to take the U.S. Citizenship Test and Interview.
World of Spice: Understanding Flavor Connections
October 5 | 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Spice up your recipes and learn about the many flavors that can add zing to your next meal. This monthly series introduces patrons to the history, uses and fun facts about spices you may have never used. Space is limited. Registration is required.
Mobile Monday
September 25 & October 9, 23 | 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
The Library is offering one-on-one patron assistance in using the Libby or Hoopla apps. Patrons must have the apps installed prior to the session. Registration is open until filled.
ESOL Classes
This program introduces non-native speakers to English and provides a place to practice English language skills. Conversation Hour is an opportunity to practice all the English language skills you have learned with other non-native speakers. Classes meet the first three full weeks of the month.

Stumped by technology? The library is offering in-person workshops on topics such as computer basics, social media, smartphones and tablets, ebooks, resume building and more. Learn how to use technology to apply for jobs, connect with family and friends and access digital materials. Registration is required.
Career Bootcamp
November 21 | 2 - 3 p.m.
Are you looking to take your career to the next level? This workshop provides you with the tools you need to create a good resume and prepare for job interviews. Learn how to use Visual CV, an online CV and resume maker and a free resource available to City Library card holders. Registration is required and space is limited to 10 participants per session. You must have a current Altamonte Springs City Library card to register.
