2023 Babe Ruth 10-Year-Old Southeast Regional Baseball Championship
The Altamonte Baseball Academy has been selected by Babe Ruth Baseball to host the 2023 10-Year-Old Southeast Regional Baseball Championship at Eastmonte Park from July 18 to 23. State champions from Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia, along with the host team from Altamonte Springs, will compete for the championship and to qualify for the Babe Ruth World Series in Crown Point, Indiana in August.
Opening ceremonies are Tuesday, July 18 at 6:15 p.m. and will include team introductions, a message from Altamonte Springs Mayor Pat Bates and the ceremonial first pitch. Tournament play begins Wednesday, July 19 at 9 a.m. Teams continue tournament play through the remainder of the week with the championship game scheduled for Sunday, July 23. Food and souvenirs will be available for purchase throughout the tournament.
Team Registration
The team manager for each advancing team is required to submit a Team Registration Form within 48 hours of completion of the State tournament.
An official Babe Ruth team photo with the manager, coaches and players identified must be sent to Joe Abramowitz at JAbramowitz@altamonte.org within 48 hours of the conclusion of the state tournament.
Team Representative Check In

A manager or coach is required to check in at the Eastmonte Civic Center on Tuesday, July 18 between 3 and 5 p.m. During check in, the Southeast Regional Representative, along with the Host Tournament Director or assistant, will check all credentials, collect state flags and team payment if applicable.
Pre-Tournament Meeting

The mandatory pre-tournament meeting is at Eastmonte Park on Tuesday, July 18 at 5 p.m. This meeting is for team managers, UIC umpires, and tournament officials. The Regional Representative appointed by the Regional Commissioner will review playing rules for the tournament and answer any questions. One member of each team is required to attend. Please limit one member per team.
Ice Breaker

The Ice Breaker event will be at Eastmonte Park on Tuesday, July 18 starting at 4 p.m. Players and coaches are served dinner from Bubbalou’s Bodacious Bar-B-Que. The menu includes a choice of a pulled pork sandwich or hot dog, baked beans, mac-n-cheese, rolls and butter, sweet and unsweet tea or lemonade and a brownie. Parents are also able to purchase a meal at $12.75 per person. Family members must RSVP.
Immediately following dinner, the opening ceremony will begin, followed by the home run derby where players, coaches and families can cheer on their team’s participant. Interactive activities are also available including a rock wall, playground, inflatables and photo stations.

T-Shirt Pre-Orders
Tournament T-shirts are available for pre-order by team only. Individual pre-orders are not available.
Team representatives may submit pre-orders to JAbramowitz@altamonte.org. Payments are collected at the pre-tournament meeting.
All pre-orders must be submitted by Monday, July 10 at 12 p.m. T-shirts are available in sizes: Youth Small, Youth Medium, Youth Large, Adult Small, Adult Medium, Adult Large, Adult X Large, Adult XX Large and Adult XXX Large. Cost is $15 per shirt.
T-shirts are also available for purchase onsite while supplies last.
Team/Player Photos
SD School Photography & Publishing will be onsite taking team and individual action shots. Team pictures can also be prearranged. More details to come.
