Day Programs - "The Clubhouse"

The Clubhouse

The Clubhouse is a time when friends come together to experience adventures and create memories through participation in crafts, games, guest speakers, field trips and more! Participants will need to bring their own lunch.

The Clubhouse – Winter
The Winter Clubhouse is held on Wednesdays for eight weeks in January and February at Eastmonte Park from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Winter Clubhouse registration opens at 9 a.m. on December 5. 
  
The Clubhouse – Summer
The summer session is held on Wednesdays for eight weeks in June and July at Eastmonte Park from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

The Clubhouse – Christmas Craft
Join us as we create holiday themed crafts, presents, cookies, sing carols and more. The Christmas craft clubhouse is held on a Tuesday and Wednesday in December at Eastmonte Park. Registration opens at 9 a.m. on November 21.

Sign In/Out: 

  • Participants are required to sign in and out of the program by their parent, guardian, companion, ride, etc. (unless participant is independently arriving to/from events) 
  • Sign in/out is conducted in the Civic Center lobby. Individuals authorized to pick up participant must present their ID. 


Day/Time: 

  • Tuesday, December 13 & Wednesday, December 14
  • Participants: 1:30 – 5:30 p.m. (Due to scheduling conflicts, there is NO early drop off or late pick up.) 
  • Volunteers: 1- 6 p.m. 
  • Notify us if you are dropping off late or picking up early, to make sure it doesn’t conflict with our scheduled events. 
  • Traveling with Access Lynx? We suggest you schedule your ride with the following windows. D/O: 1:30 - 2 p.m. P/U: 5 - 5:30 p.m. 

Wear:

  • Participants must wear their turquoise ‘Special Needs Recreation’ T-shirt to the clubhouse. 
  • Counselors must wear their green Special Needs Recreation T-shirt to the clubhouse. 
  • Holiday accessories are welcome. 


Holiday Light Ride:

  • Participants have the option to stay at the clubhouse until the Holiday Light ride at 
    6 p.m., but must sign up for one of those trips separately.

 

Note: If for any reason your participant will no longer be able to attend the program, please let us know so we can offer their spot to a participant on our waiting list. 


S.T.O.P. Trips (Saturday Time Out for Parents)
Trips are held one Saturday a month. The day will include an entertaining or educational field trip and lunch. Drop off and pick up is at Eastmonte Park. Cost is $3 per participant. Feel free to send souvenir money for trips. Please call or email to reserve your spot.
