Neighborhood Parks
Angel of HopeNeighborhood parks serve as social and recreational focal points for neighborhoods in Altamonte Springs. These parks offer a wide range of facilities, such as playground equipment for kids, picnic areas and benches for interaction with nature, or a spot to just relax and read a book. All are easily accessible for children and senior adults.

Hermits Trail

This small neighborhood park offers both active and passive recreation options including an equipped playground and picnic pavilion.

Park hours are from dawn to dusk. Hermits Trail is located at the intersection of SR 436 and Hermits Trail.

Lake Orienta Boat Ramp
Due to flooding from Hurricane Matthew, the boat ramp is closed until further notice.

A 1.5 acre picnic / recreation area with access to Lake Orienta, which boasts 135 acres of lake for fishing, skiing and other water sports.

Park hours are from dawn to dusk when water levels allow. For more information on park opening and closing, please call (407) 571-8881. Lake Orienta Boat Ramp is located along Hattaway Drive on Lake Orienta.

Main & Turnbull
A neighborhood park with picnic tables and playground equipment, along with other passive recreational devices.

Park hours are from dawn to dusk. The park is located at Maitland Avenue and Turnbull Avenue.

Located near Lake Orienta Elementary on Oakland Drive this one half-acre park has walkways and benches for quiet leisure pursuits. Sunshine Park is the home of the Angel of Hope monument and hosts both Angel of Hope and SIDS Alliance events during the year.

Park hours are from dawn to dusk. The park is located along Oakland Drive and Spring lake Hills Drive.
