Water Reclamation Facility
Water Reclamation PlantThe Altamonte Springs Regional Water Reclamation Facility (ASRWRF) is an award-winning water reclamation plant designed to provide treatment for up to 12 million gallons per day (MGD) of wastewater from several municipalities. Since 1989, the ASRWRF has been a leader in the United States for recycling treated wastewater and using it for irrigation.

This is one of the very few facilities providing reclaimed water to nearly 100% of its customers while reducing impacts to the environment. The facility is comprised of a variety of mechanical and unit purification processes that can be seen in action while engineers, plant operators and chemists are running the plant.
