Environmental Laboratory
Lab test tubesThis “research classroom” is comprised of a National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference (NELAC) certified environmental laboratory located at the nationally recognized, Altamonte Springs Regional Water Reclamation Facility (ASRWRF). Chemists at the lab conduct critical water quality tests necessary to assess the performance of the highly regulated and essential public services such as drinking water and reclaimed water.

The lab’s certification depends on successful Florida Department of Health audits and regular participation in Proficiency Testing programs. Lab staff provides a real laboratory experience with a “hands-on” demonstration of relevant test procedures.

Plant Hours
Visits to the plant are by appointment only.
