Altamonte Town Center is a 25-acre, 1.5 million square foot entitled master planned development fronting S.R. 436 and Cranes Roost Boulevard in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Altamonte Springs, located in Seminole County, is part of the dynamic Orlando, Florida market and consistently ranks in the top ten growth markets in the country. Restaurant Business magazine recently ranked Orlando seventh in the nation for restaurant growth. Altamonte Town Center will be a mixed-use lifestyle and entertainment development that will include retail, restaurants, office, residential and hotel components. This waterfront community will be a national model for Town Center redevelopment and will provide Altamonte Springs with a new downtown that will be a true “live, work and play” community.

Altamonte Town Center, a redevelopment of the former North Lake Plaza, is located at an established regional shopping hub. Altamonte Town Center is immediately adjacent to and located between the Altamonte mall and Interstate 4. Altamonte Mall is a 1.3 million square foot regional mall anchored by Burdine’s, Dillards, Penny’s and Sears. Under construction of the mall and set to open in the spring of 2002 is a new AMC 18 screen stadium seating theatre. Additional traffic generators in the immediate trade area include Florida Hospital’s northeast campus as well as numerous corporate offices including Lucent and Kirchman Corporation. Altamonte Town Center is also located within a five-minute drive of Maitland, the largest suburban office sub market in Orlando with approximately 5,500,000 square feet of office space.

Altamonte Town Center will follow strict design guidelines. Restaurant, retail and commercial office space will be located close to S.R. 436 framing the main entry. As the development moves further north, and the site gently slopes down to Crane’s Roost Lake, and the new Crane’s Roost Plaza, denser urban patterns of 3 to 6 story retail, residential, and office uses with structured parking garages are proposed, including a 300 unit luxury residential tower. Cranes Roost Plaza will be located at the northwest corner of the development at the banks of Crane’s Roost Lake and will be a gathering place to enhance the numerous concerts, events, and civic activities currently featured year round by the City of Altamonte Springs.
