Announcements
The Plant Operators participate in the annual competition for the “Best Tasting Water in Central Florida”. The event is conducted by the Region III Florida Section – American Water Works Association. The City of Altamonte Springs took home first place honors in 2005, and second place in 2006.
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection awarded the City of Altamonte Springs Water Reclamation Facility with the 2006 Plant Operations Excellence award.
