Overview
Stormwater issues affect us all. Proper drainage and flood control seriously impact life in Central Florida. The City of Altamonte Springs’ Public Works Department, Stormwater Division strives to protect and improve water quality and the environment by decreasing the amount of pollutants and sediments entering the hydrologic system, so everyone may enjoy the natural environment around us. The Stormwater Division prides itself on the many programs it manages that collectively achieve their goal of protecting and improving the environment, while enhancing the quality of life throughout the City. Through the programs listed below the Stormwater Division hopes to positively affect the residents of Altamonte Springs.
