SOLID WASTE
The City of Altamonte Springs provides its residents with twice a week collection of refuse (household garbage), “yard waste” collection each Wednesday and recycling collection once each week. Special pickups are made available throughout the year to our single family residential customers for large items such as appliances, furniture, etc. for a nominal charge. Altamonte Springs residents enjoy free collection for large items during our Spring Cleanup.
