Spring Clean-up
Spring Clean-up is held once each year (around Easter). Clean-up is provided by Stormwater and Streets employees using different trucks and NOT Sanitation employees on the refuse trucks. Materials that will be collected are large household items like furniture and appliances that are not collected on regular refuse days. Cleanup is also a great time to plan your heavy tree trimming or pruning jobs as there are no bundling or size restrictions. Some items not collected at clean up are large household renovation items, tires or other hazardous materials. During cleanup, your materials should be placed curbside, by 7:00 a.m., on your normal refuse days.
When you are placing cleanup materials at the curb please be sure to place the piles away from light poles, post boxes or trees to enable the vehicles to work the claw to pick up the piles.
Sanitation will continue to collect your bundles and containerized materials on “Yardwaste” Wednesday.
