• Watering with a hand held garden hose is permitted anytime, provided. It is fitted with an automatic shut-off nozzle.

• Car washing is allowed anytime and must be done using a hand-held hose equipped with an automatic shut-off nozzle.

• New landscapes may be watered. Irrigation of new landscape is allowed at any time of day on any day for the initial 30 days and every other day for the next 30 days for a total of one 60-day period, provided that the irrigation is limited to the minimum amount necessary for establishment.  Please call Public Works Administration at 407-571-8340 for required Variance Request forms before Watering or download the form here.

Reclaimed water is a valuable resource that should not be wasted or abused by the over-watering of your lawn. 

When you or your irrigation contractor are working on the irrigation system, you or your irrigation contractor must call our office and le us know the day and time of the testing to avoid watering restriction fines. We can be contacted at 407-571-8340 Monday through Friday between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm.

*Note: The pressures on reclaimed water will be lowered during restricted hours from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. and on non-watering days.
