Q: Where is Lake Lotus Park? What is the phone number?
A: Lake Lotus Park is located approximately ½ mile west of Forest City Road (S.R. 434) on Maitland Boulevard (S.R. 414). Phone number is (407) 293-8885.

Q: When is the park open?
A: The park is open Thursday thru Sunday;
8:30 am-5: 30 pm EST.

Q: Does the park have an athletic field, tennis courts, and swimming pool or volleyball courts?
A: No, Lake Lotus Park is considered a passive park. See the activities section for more information.

Q: Are pets allowed in the park?
A: No, pets are not allowed in the park.

Q: Are alcoholic beverages allowed in the park?
A: No, alcoholic beverages not permitted in the park.

Q: How do you reserve a picnic shelter and what is the cost?
A: You must come to the park to reserve a shelter. The costs are as follows:
Large Picnic Shelter, $100.00 All day
Half Day $50.00: either 8:00 am-12:00pm or 1:00 pm –5:00 pm
Smaller shelters $50.00-All day: $25.00 Half Day
Same hours as above.

Q: Can you ride bikes in the park?
A: Bicycles are not allowed on the boardwalk or trails and must be stored in the bike rack.

Q: Why must I park in the off-site parking lot on weekends?
A: Due to the immense volume of vehicular traffic on weekends, it would be unsafe for pedestrians to wander throughout the park. Another benefit is that visitors are much more likely to see wildlife and enjoy their surroundings without the noise pollution that the vehicles would bring.

Q: Why are visitors allowed to fish only in designated areas?
A: By limiting fishing to designated areas, we are able to manage habitat destruction, concentrate fish attractors in one area, provide equal accessibility to all visitors and centralize amenities.
