Staffing

Breadcrumbs

Lake Lotus Park is staffed by trained, State of Florida certified Park Rangers. These Park Rangers are tasked with preserving our natural environment and ensuring the public experiences this natural environment in a safe and enjoyable manner. Of course, there are maintenance and construction projects that must be accomplished to meet the needs of the park and it’s patrons. The Park Rangers perform all types of duties, such as boardwalk maintenance, restroom cleaning, and habitat restoration. There are many other jobs the staff performs, but none as important as ensuring the safety of our patrons. This is accomplished by monitoring activities in the park, patrolling the park on foot, bicycle and all-terrain vehicles.

Our staff includes former law enforcement officers and other similarly trained Park Rangers to address any concerns that may arise. To further assist the public, we have installed an emergency phone system with locations spread throughout the park. To utilize the system an individual need only to pick up the receiver and they are automatically connected with a Park Ranger or the Police Department and assistance can be rendered.

Our staff is committed to preserving our natural resources and facilitating the proper use of those resources so they can be enjoyed for generations to come.
