Many activities can be enjoyed at Lake Lotus Nature Park. One of the most popular activities is a quiet, peaceful walk along the boardwalk as it meanders throughout the wetlands. Bird watchers also utilize these walkways to observe the diverse variety of bird species found in the park and along the shores of Lake Lotus. For those who enjoy fishing, there is a 100 ft. x 24 ft. dock designated for fishing that extends out into the lake. On any given weekend you will find the park’s three picnic shelters full of people hosting family reunions, birthday parties and all sorts of other get-togethers. While the adults visit, the little ones can exercise their muscles on the nearby playground equipment. For those who wish to jog or run, the boardwalk makes it possible to enjoy this activity surrounded by Florida's natural beauty.
