Applications received are held in Human Resources until the closing Date. Each minimum qualification information form is reviewed to determine eligibility for the position. Applications exhibiting the minimum qualifications are sent to the hiring department for review. Applicants with the highest skills and most relevant work history required for the position will be contacted by the department supervisor for interview and/or testing, as required. Testing can be in many forms, from a skills assessment test to a physical fitness assessment. The selection process includes an employee entrance evaluation and can take from 3-14 weeks, depending on the position. If not selected for interview or testing, the applicant will be notified by mail after the hiring decision has been made.
