DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COORDINATION


For information regarding the following development application procedures and land development-related issues, please contact Growth Management at 407.571.8150 ext. 8147:

The Development Review Committee (DRC) reviews applications received on or prior to the submittal deadline of the first and third Thursday of the month. Meetings are held on Wednesdays approximately two weeks after each submittal deadline.

Questions about submittals to the DRC may be directed to Growth Management, at 407.571.8150 ext. 8435.


The Planning Board typically meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM in the City Commission Chambers of City Hall. The Planning Board also acts as the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for the City's comprehensive planning program, and makes recommendations to the City Commission regarding City Plan 2020, the City's growth management plan.

The Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) typically meets on the third Monday of each month at 6:00 PM in the City Commission Chambers of City Hall.

City Commission Meetings - Certain development-related applications must be approved by the City Commission, such as annexations, rezonings, subdivision plats, and easement or right-of-way abandonments. The City Commission meetings are normally held on the first and third Tuesdays at 7:00 PM in the City Hall Commimssion Chambers. Advertising requirements and application review time will factor into when a particular project can be scheduled for the City Commission.
