Planning and Development Division

The Planning and Development Division is responsible for the implementation of City Plan 2020, the City’s comprehensive land use plan, which envisions the City to be a unique community with modern amenities. Additionally, the division provides development review services, coordinates the activities of the Development Review Committee, and administers the city’s zoning regulations and Land Development Code which guides development projects in the City. The professional staff provides technical support to the Planning Board, Board of Zoning Appeals, residents, and businesses of the City of Altamonte Springs.
