Child Restraint Safety Seat Check
The Altamonte Springs Police Department conducts child safety seat inspections by appointment Thursdays from 9:00 am to 11:00 am free of charge at the Altamonte Mall COPS Center, located lower level between JC Penney and Macy's. For more information or to schedule an appointment call 407-571-8463 .
A child safety seat class is offered on the last Thursday of every month. This class allows parents who meet certain qualifications to purchase safety seats at a reduced price through the Healthy Start Organization. To register call 407-571-8463 or Seminole Safe Kids at 407-665-5150.
