Emergency Rental Assistance Program

Seminole County has been awarded Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) and American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds from the U.S. Department of the Treasury intended to provide rental assistance to eligible households negatively impacted due to COVID-19 and the resulting economic environment. Funds shall be used to cover the financial obligation of rent and/or utilities. These programs will remain open as long as funds remain available.

  • ERAP provides assistance to low-income households within unincorporated Seminole County and Seminole County’s municipalities.
  • ARPA assists moderate-income households within unincorporated areas of Seminole County or within the City of Altamonte Springs.

Seminole County has been awarded Emergency Mortgage Assistance Program (EMAP) and American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds from the U.S. Department of the Treasury intended to provide mortgage assistance to eligible households negatively impacted due to COVID-19, and the resulting economic environment. Funds shall be used to cover the financial obligation of mortgage and/or utilities. These programs will remain open as long as funds are available.

  • The EMAP program assists low-income households within unincorporated Seminole County and Seminole County’s municipalities, with the exception of the City of Sanford.
  • The ARPA program assists moderate-income households within unincorporated areas of Seminole County and within the City of Altamonte Springs.
